In high wind areas, the automatic gate lock (FM143) is recommended to secure the gate in the closed position. The one piece design includes the control board and operator arm all in one unit, and is very easy for a do-it-yourself to install. It comes with a detailed installation manual and installation DVD. The FM350 is DC powered and plugs into any 120 V AC / 60 Hz outlet using the included 18 V AC transformer. This unit is solar compatible, which makes it ideal for rural environments. The FM350 requires an automotive or marine style battery and weather-proof case (not included). Works with all Mighty Mule accessories. Comes with 1-remote control transmitter, all mounting hardware, and pivot brackets for pull-to-open installation. Push-to-open bracket (FM148) is needed for gates opening away from the property.
